The Underground Tourist Passage in Jarosław – is a Polish-English publication presenting the values of the Jarosław underground. It shows one of the two routes under the city.
Located on a trade route and famous for crowded fairs, Jarosław needed warehouse space to store goods. Corridors were made under the tenement houses, which created specific, independent networks of underground labyrinths. Today, the underground is the cultural heritage of Jarosław.
The most attractive tourist attraction is the Underground Tourist Passage. The presented route covers the basement of three magnificent merchant tenement houses: Orsettich, Attavantich i Gruszewiczów.
This innovative attraction brings us closer to the 16th and 17th centuries, when Jarosław was a great commercial center. It combines a conventional exhibition with a huge amount of multimedia devices and suggestive scenography, thanks to which the tour is not only based on a dry narrative, but is a great entertainment for adults and young’s guests.
